COMEDY AT THE VIC is a BRAND NEW comedy night in the heart of Birmingham, hosted by one of the city's most iconic venues!

This is a new material night for some of the best Stand Up comedians in the UK, and a platform for the rising stars of comedy and entertainment!

We are here to bring you Christmas cheer and plenty of joy for the holiday season!

AV SINGH (@av_singhsc):

Av Singh is a Black Country comedian who has established himself as an Indian. His comedy is observational and is about his awkward experiences and how he tends to react to situations in his own British Asian way.

RYAN LEWIS (@Dukeofmelanin):

Ryan is a comedian on the rise from the sunny shores of Smethwick in the West Midlands. His take on the world both inside and outside of his mind, will make you laugh and provoke a thought or two.

ABBIE HALE (@abbiedarlin95):

Up and coming newcomer to the Midlands comedy circuit, hailing from the exotic realm of Wolverhampton.

LIN SMITH (@doubtbeat):

Worcester’s Lin Smith is a tepid mess with a lot of baggage. Her initial aim of making her mother laugh has since spiralled out of control, and now she inflicts her insufferable people-pleasing on unwitting strangers across the Midlands. Reluctant musical comic. Powerfully erratic.

HOST/MC - JAY DROCH (@jay_droch):

Comedian, Host and Entertainer from Birmingham, UK.

Jay has become a regular face on the West Midlands thriving theatre circuit. In 2018, he took his steps into stand up comedy and has gone on to perform at the most prestigious venues and theatres across the UK. Jay has opened for and featured alongside some of the biggest stars in British comedy, including Guz Khan (BBC Three’s Man Like Mobeen), Tez Ilyas (The Tez O'clock Show), Marlon Davis (Live at the Apollo), Daliso Chaponda (Britain's Got Talent), Shazia Mirza (The Wright Stuff) and many more. Jay made his broadcast debut on the BBC Asian Network Comedy night in April 2019 and went on to become a finalist for Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award 2019. Jay's high energy performance combines impersonations, improvisation and unique (if not insane) observational humour, with plenty of pop culture references for good measure.
