With an experimental approach drawing from numerous influences, Dog Mask fuses the intensity of goth, post-punk, and industrial music with the forward-thinking sensibilities of electronic music, art rock, internet media, and the avant-garde. Dog Mask's releases are thematically concerned with the relationship between social performance and internal instinct—between what we are forced to do and what we desire.
