These days, it’s known under its more revealing name: SANTA CLAUS VS THE DEVIL!
Hilariously riffed by ‘Mystery Science Theater 3000’ in 1993, this part low-budget cheesy Christmas Film, part drug-tinged, trippy nightmare fuel must be seen to be believed!
The Story:
Santa Claus, high above the North Pole in his cloud-borne psychedelic floating castle, equipped with more surveillance devices than the Impossible Mission Force, prepares to deliver presents on Christmas Eve night. However, the Devil has other plans and sends a demon named Pitch to foil Santa. Pitch recruits three naughty children to help him set traps for Santa to K*ll him. Santa turns to his only friend, Merlin the Magician (?!?!) for help stopping the Devil and making sure Christmas goes on!
Charming yet disturbing, cute yet creepy, and just all around weird, this Christmas cinema oddity is a must!
