JuneShine Presents: Free Yoga at McCarren Park House!

We were looking for a way to get through our mid-week slump and thought yoga in our favorite park in Brooklyn was the way to do that. We're working with Charlotte Bagwell, a yoga instructor from YOBK based in New York City.

We have moved inside for classes but still same great teacher and same JuneShine Happy after class!

Yoga starts at 3pm and is open to all ages and levels. Please bring your own mat. At 4pm we'll move to Parkhouse for JuneShine samples and specials!

Hey, I’m Charlotte! Born and raised in Dallas, TX, I’ve lived in NYC since 2019. Shortly after moving to Brooklyn, I found a community and home at YOBK. My mom took me to my first yoga class when I was 14, and the practice has been a part of my life ever since. I get on my mat to breathe, check in with myself, and nurture the connection between my mind and body. I’ve completed two yoga teacher trainings and am so thrilled to teach at YOBK. In addition to my work at the studio, I’m a classically trained operatic soprano- I love exploring the relationship between yoga and singing, and hugely appreciate the value of consistent practice. My favorite way to start the day includes a strong cup of coffee, a croissant with strawberry jam, and snuggles from my dog Louis. I can’t wait to see you on your mat!
