Loving Kindness Meditation is a practice of self-compassion and compassion for others. In this 90 minute group setting, we will be developing a personalized Loving-Kindness meditation based on a guided, awareness-building exercise. This is a group in which you can come, share, talk and explore as well as come and be with the group, but remain in silence. There will be a group "love" alter, and all are welcome to bring something to place on the alter that represents compassion and love to you.
Also, we will be done some very brief writing, so if you have a journal or special paper you like to work with, bring that. Otherwise, writing materials will be provided.
The cost of this event is a suggested $10 donation, which can be made in cash, PayPal or Venmo.
