Morning People Tāmaki Makaurau end of year special feat. Wattsson + Sharkra

Taking us back to our roots, Whammy Bar is where Morning People first took hold - capturing the imaginations and dancey feelings of the unsuspecting public. It’s been a long time between kombuchas, and we’re fizzing to return.

The TWO-HOUR end of year special will be spread across two rooms and feature the sonic stylings of Wattsson in the main room and Sharkra playing the Whammy backroom.

Splitting her time between Ibiza and Aotearoa, Wattsson is known for bringing the party. She’s got a busy summer ahead with bookings on boats, on tropical islands, in mountains, and at parties across the country including dates at Shipwrecked, Splore and Rhythm and Alps.

Known for bending the genre space-time-continuum, globetrotting Sharkra’s sets have seen her play AUM, Dimension and Shipwrecked, and as far afield as Australia, Vietnam and Thailand.

Don’t miss this Morning People double header and your last chance to get dancey before work for 2022.

In usual Morning People fashion, memorable dance-floor moments will be served alongside complimentary Club Mate, bottomless cups of Altezano Brothers coffee, and fair trade All Good bananas.
