Mysteries on the Move: Scavenger Hunt in Baltimore

DISCOVER BALTIMORE IN A WHOLE NEW WAY: BY SOLVING A M**der MYSTERY!

You will be tasked with solving the M**der of silent movie director Rex King, who was visiting Boston while filming on location in 1926. Gather the clues – outdoors and on the move – while visiting historical sites throughout the city!

Using your smart phone, you will be out and about, while finding out whodunnit. During this game played at your own pace, you will venture to several historic sites, gathering clues along the way. This game is great fun while checking out the sites on vacation or just getting to know your home town better. Your whole group of friends can play with just one purchase.

At each stop, you will search for the passcode to open up your next set of clues by reading readily accessible (and free) historical markers. Stops on this hunt include: Walters Art Museum and Edgar Allen Poe’s Grave (just to name a few). This 2.3 mile walk will visit 10 stops of historical significance, at which point you will assemble your clues, submit your response, and find out the solution!

If sales are closed for the day you would like to play, simply purchase another date - you will receive the same information and still be able to login and play.

TECH SPECS

A smart phone is required to play this game. Up to four devices can sign on with the same order number. Since the game is web based, you will not need to download an app - but you will need a healthy knowledge of how to use the web browser on your device. If you are not versed in using your web browser, this game may be difficult for you to enjoy. You will also need working internet on your device while playing the game.

DELIVERY

You will receive an email from Eventbrite with a login code upon purchase. Please make sure to also check your junk email. Your login information will be at the bottom of your Eventbrite ticket. You will be directed to a web page to begin your game - the first page is an instruction page only. Please read through the instructions and watch the instruction video before starting the game.

PLAY TIME

The game is self guided, so you can start and end at any time you wish. Played straight through, the game takes about an hour and a half - but you can feel free to pause along the way to check out nearby sites or take breaks.
