The management team at this hotel is spearheading a beautiful Artist in Residence program that offers room and board to musicians and visual artists that are dedicated to diving into their craft and exploring their creativity! As part of the program, I will be curating some events and shows to highlight my favourite parts of our music community.
This particular series is called ‘Tea Time with TAYLR’ and is inspired by the instagram livestream series I put together over the beginning of the pandemic where I interviewed some of my favourite local creatives and shared stories through performance. My favourite show format has always been songwriter circles! I love how intimate they can become and the storytelling that is facilitated and with this series, I hope to deep dive into the ‘why’ behind our tunes and chosen path.
