About this Event
Bell ringing – and donating to a Red Kettle – looks a little different this year. All our bell ringers are required to wear masks and use hand sanitizer, answer a health questionnaire before their shift, keep distant from donors, and sanitize the kettles regularly. Our touchless kettle pay technology allows donors a completely contact-free way to Do the Most Good this Christmas.
The bell-ringing season starts each November 11 and runs through Christmas Eve. Volunteers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises about $30 per hour – enough to provide a family with two bags of groceries or shelter an individual for a night.
Registration is open Friday, October 1, and will close Wednesday, December 23rd.
Bellringing timeslots are available to volunteers Monday, November 8th - Friday, December 24th.
We are looking for bell ringers in Carroll County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Glen Burnie, Howard County, Harford County, and Cecil County.During the final week of bell ringing, please contact your local corps to confirm the final date for registration. Our locations are listed below.
If you want to RSVP to be a bell ringer E-mail Captain Matthew Tidman at: [email protected] or call his office number at: (443)-873-7941
