Winter Solstice Sound Bath w/ Bone & Vegan Broth | Marketplace at Gravity

Join us on the night of the Winter Solstice for a 75-minute sound bath ceremony with ambient musician and sound healer Jesse Cale. Local food-based event duo Seasoned will be providing delicious bone & vegan broth with herbs and more mixed in.

"Seasoned is a series of food based events focused on medicinal plants and the way interact with our bodies and our tastebuds! It will be a fun, playful and educational dive into the seasonal bounty mother nature has to offer!

Each dinner will be comprised of dishes prepared by Lorenzo and Grace featuring medicinal herbs, local veggies and meats that are available during that season.

We hope to build community and highlight the profound impact medicinal plants and foods can have on our mind, body and soul.

December 21st | Arrive anytime between 6 & 6:50 | Sound bath will begin promptly at 7 pm and entry will no longer be permitted as to not disrupt the ceremony.

The event space in the Marketplace @ Gravity. We encourage parking at the Gravity parking garage across the street from the marketplace

Bring what you would like to lay on during the ceremony. i.e. yoga mat, pillow, padding, blanket, etc.

A blanket is encouraged because of the variability of the temperature in the room. Everyone has different preferences and we want you to be comfortable.

Bring a journal and pen so you can use the journal prompts provided at the door, reflect on anything that is brought up during the ceremony, or to write down any messages that come through for you.

We will have a space where you can place objects you would like to be charged with the energy of the night. (please nothing large, small items preferred like crystals, jewelry, bones, etc.)

There are a series of stations set up around h0m to accompany you during your experience. These stations include prayer candles/lamps, oracle decks to choose from, individual tarot cards, a burn box (Full Moon only), and more being added regularly. These stations may not suit everyone's intentions or practice, so please don't feel pressured or obligated to participate in using them.

We have a comfortable section where artists and writers can sit and create during the sound bath. You are encouraged to bring your own art supplies, but there are a variety of art supplies provided if not including coloring books and colored pencils.

This section is limited and requires the purchase of an artist and writers ticket.

What is a sound bath?

Information for those sensitive or potentially allergic to sensory tools involved in the ceremony:

The ceremony will involve the mild burning of herbal bundles and incense.

A variety of colors will be used for the lighting as well as projectors (Full Moon ceremonies only). We have eye masks available to help block out any additional or distracting lighting during the ceremony.

This being a sound bath - there will be a wide range of aural stimuli from singing bowls and piano to organic and synthetic ambient textures. Please let us know if at any point it is too loud by raising your hand during the ceremony.

If any of this information changes, it will be mentioned at the start of the sound bath.

Occasionally Sound Baths can bring up some deep feelings or thoughts that can be a lot to process in the moment. We have an on hand licensed therapist in case a feeling or thought needs some extra space to care for it.
